What is ethical silver?

Simply put, ethical silver is silver that has been recycled. There is so much silver in circulation now that there is no need to mine any more.

Recycled sterling silver is completely the same as silver that is brand new; it reacts the same way, has the same amazing properties, and it assays (hallmarking) perfectly. In fact, the only person who will know it's recycled is you.

I made the decision when I started Sarah Ralph Designs to be as environmentally friendly as possible. I only use recycled sterling silver, and my packaging is made from recycled materials and can be recycled again.

I'm playing my part in protecting our environment.
