Purple Teardrop Luomu Earrings
Luomu is a collection of pendants, earrings and rings which are modern and unique.
These earrings are crafted from solid sterling silver using 2 tube set cubic zirconia’s in a beautiful purple and aurora colours and tiny granules or balls of sterling silver. Each granule is made individually by melting tiny pieces of sterling silver, as the silver melts, they naturally form spheres. These granules are then soldered on to the pendant individually.
The earrings are 1 cm wide and 3.5 cm in length approximately and are supplied sterling silver ear hooks.
Each item is unique and due to the crafting process, they are organic in the way the granules move when soldered, hence the name of Luomu which is Finnish for organic. A beautiful name for a beautiful collection.

All Stirling Silver work that is over 7.78g must be hallmarked by UK Law. This piece of jewellery is under the weight limit so is not hallmarked. Each item is stamped 925 for Sterling Silver and is also stamped with Sarah Ralph’s maker’s mark which is registered with the London Assay Office.
I stamp each item of jewellery by hand and so maybe slightly wonky, this shows your piece of jewellery is hand made just for you.
I will have your chosen piece of jewellery ready for dispatch within 1-2 weeks after purchase. It may well be dispatched a lot sooner but that is the outside estimate. If you have a specific deadline please send me a message.
Your order will be sent via Royal Mail first class post and in theory should be with you 2-3 days after dispatch in the UK (apologies but currently I only ship within the UK).
Due to the current Covid situation the post can be rather unpredictable. It will be dispatched on time as I have control over that aspect. I can't control the length of time the postal service take so please give it a little more time than you would normally need to. It will be worth the wait xxx
Your order will be beautifully wrapped with a care card included.
How to care for your gorgeous jewellery.
Jewellery from Sarah Ralph Designs is made from 925 Sterling Silver. This is a gorgeous precious metal that does need a little love and attention to keep it at it's best.
Sterling Silver can tarnish over time; it's inevitable with this metal. Tarnish is caused by exposure to perfumes, moisturisers, hairspray etc. these are a fact of life and can't be avoided.
Tarnish can easily be removed when it first becomes visible by cleaning your jewellery regularly with mild soap, water, a soft toothbrush and gentle drying. Also effective is cleaning with a silver cleaning cloth. I will include a cleaning cloth with your order.
Correct storage is also key. It is best to keep Sterling Silver in a cool dry place; ideally in an air tight container with an anti-tarnish strip (I will include one with your order).
To keep your silver in tip top shape I's recommend:
1. Avoid getting your jewellery wet, i.e. avoid wearing your jewellery in the shower, bath, hot tub or when swimming. Also with rings or bracelets avoid wearing them when cleaning or housework as the Sterling Silver may react with cleaning products.
2. Avoid wearing when exercising, at the gym or playing contact sports.
3. Avoid wearing your jewellery to bed.
4. Polish regularly with a lint free cloth.
5. Apply lotions, creams or perfume and allow to dry before putting your jewellery on.
6. Store each piece of jewellery separately so it isn't touching another piece. This will avoid scratching.
Sterling Silver Jewellery reacts best when it's worn, so this is the perfect excuse to wear your beautiful jewellery regularly.
Unfortunely due to the issues and legality surrounding Brexit I regret to say that I currently cannot sell jewellery to customers based in Europe. I sincerly hope this will change as soon as possible.
