Bowtie Necklace

Bowtie Necklace

£140.00Price

This necklace got its name by each link resembling a bowtie. Formed from solid sterling silver wire, each delicate link has a small number of tiny granulations or balls at its centre. Each link is joined together by tiny jump rings. The clasp is handmade and easy to use with no fiddly springs. The surface of the pendant has been hammered to produce tiny dimples which twinkle as they catch the light.

This necklace is 18.5 inches long and 0.7 cm in diameter approximately at its widest point. The necklace has 15 links.

Beautiful, delicate and unique, this necklace will add a touch of class and sophistication to any outfit.

All Stirling Silver work that is over 7.78g must be hallmarked by UK Law. This piece of jewellery is hallmarked by the London Assay Office on the clasp.

  • Delivery Time

I will have your chosen piece of jewellery ready for dispatch within 1-2 weeks after purchase. It may well be dispatched a lot sooner but that is the outside estimate. If you have a specific deadline please send me a message.

Your order will be sent via Royal Mail first class post and in theory should be with you 2-3 days after dispatch in the UK (apologies but currently I only ship within the UK).

Due to the current Covid situation the post can be rather unpredictable. It will be dispatched on time as I have control over that aspect. I can't control the length of time the postal service take so please give it a little more time than you would normally need to. It will be worth the wait xxx

  • Care Instructions

How to care for your gorgeous jewellery.

Jewellery from Sarah Ralph Designs is made from 925 Sterling Silver. This is a gorgeous precious metal that does need a little love and attention to keep it at it's best.

Sterling Silver can tarnish over time; it's inevitable with this metal. Tarnish is caused by exposure to perfumes, moisturisers, hairspray etc. these are a fact of life and can't be avoided.

Tarnish can easily be removed when it first becomes visible by cleaning your jewellery regularly with mild soap, water, a soft toothbrush and gentle drying. Also effective is cleaning with a silver cleaning cloth. I will include a cleaning cloth with your order.

Correct storage is also key. It is best to keep Sterling Silver in a cool dry place; ideally in an air tight container with an anti-tarnish strip (I will include one with your order).

To keep your silver in tip top shape I's recommend:

    1. Avoid getting your jewellery wet, i.e. avoid wearing your jewellery in the shower, bath, hot tub or when swimming. Also with rings or bracelets avoid wearing them when cleaning or housework as the Sterling Silver may react with cleaning products.

    2. Avoid wearing when exercising, at the gym or playing contact sports.

    3. Avoid wearing your jewellery to bed.

    4. Polish regularly with a lint free cloth.

    5. Apply lotions, creams or perfume and allow to dry before putting your jewellery on.

    6. Store each piece of jewellery separately so it isn't touching another piece. This will avoid scratching.

Sterling Silver Jewellery reacts best when it's worn, so this is the perfect excuse to wear your beautiful jewellery regularly.
